I worked on this design for a custom home build in #fallbrook 20 years ago. It was ahead of it’s time.   • A very large custom painted canvas from an artist in Australia is being stretched over a generous 1.5” thick frame by the experts at @theframemakersd It’s one of the last pieces of art and accessory to wrap up a year+ long project remodeling all 3 bathrooms, kitchen remodel, new flooring and paint throughout, lighting updates, and nearly all new furniture. Just in time for holiday season entertaining.   • I do a lot of kitchen and bathroom remodels, and new flooring and paint. As these are the areas residential clients typically spend an intimidating amount of money and want to make sure they are doing things right. But I also help with furnishing and décor. For this client, I helped her with the process of moving from one home to another. Analyzed the furniture she owned, what to keep and what not to. Where things would fit best. And what will be needed to fill in and complete, like new rugs, reupholstering dining chairs, window coverings and paint. Then we created a beautiful new home that was a reflection of her traditional French Country style but with a new modern and mountain twist. Recently I helped with some finishing touches. Like this table scape I made for her with beautiful faux greens and florals.   • Another day, another bathroom selfie. #reflectedselfie Just some quick snaps in a client’s finished bathroom remodel. This is a secondary bathroom for a female teen and overnight guests. We decided to go down to one sink and instead make a counter height vanity space. Both mirrors are medicine cabinets for lots of additional easy-to-see storage. We added a storage cabinet over the toilet too.   • Another Day. Another #powderroom But this one doesn’t feel done yet. Sure, the cabinet is beautiful and a fun green color. The countertop vessel sink and offset faucet under the round mirror is way more interesting than the builder grade “before” bathroom. But. The walls are just so plain!   • Powder rooms should be an experience. Go there. Take it all the way. Don’t be afraid. You want to love visiting it and you want your guests to remember it. For this client, we started out doing a kitchen remodel and flooring replacement. Next thing we know, this little room is getting a refresh too. New pre-fab cabinet with marble counter. Added a simple clean lined wainscot. Altered the lighting layout - sconces flanking new mirror. And the final touches - a stenciled paint pattern and some natural wood accents with shelves.
